American company RealRobotix are attempting to push the sex doll industry into the future by integrating artificial intelligence to create a more immersive experience with an anatomically correct, life size sex doll you can interact with and more importantly that interacts back.
RealDoll CEO Matt McMullen believes the next evolution is their sex doll product “Harmony” which will be able to blind, open and close it’s mouth and apparently even talk to you.
Matt said “The ultimate aim is to create a doll that appears to behave as if ‘she’ enjoys the act of sex” and “We might very well be launching a new company devoted solely to the development of integrating AI with realistic sex toys, as well as potential VR applications,” McMullen said in a Reddit ask-me-anything a couple of months ago.
That said the real deal seems to be the news coming from Realbotix who are for now creating the system that will allow dolls to interact and communicate though this game is pricey, when you add the latest in AI tech to already very expensive sex dolls you wont be surprised to hear the head alone is estimated to cost around £650 British Sterling or $10k in dollars and the entire functioning system to be potentially £19k or $30k so it seems only the rich will be able to partake in full robosexuality for the time being.
