The BKK Cybersex Cup is an unusually named product but nonetheless a very interesting one. This Virtual Reality Fleshlight type device comes in a box with a masturbator / stroker and a VR Headset much like the Google Cardboard variety but slightly better designed than the cardboard options. The idea with this device is that you slide your Android phone into the headset, and connect the stroker to the app.
The device can detect your motion to use it within the virtual world and the general idea is to have virtual sex with a choice of different Hentai characters that you can customize to your taste before choosing a setting to copulate in. Now this product is ground breaking and shows what the future holds but from what we have seen definitely needs some development in a few areas.
The product works and is a great first attempt though some have commented that the hentai characters are limited and a more realistic set of characters would be better. Also that the game is somewhat misogynistic as the girls are all in skimpy outfits and there is also no option to change girls to black, light brown is the darkest setting. Several unusual quirks that could potentially be ironed out and improved via app updates in the future.
As with anything purely adult content related the app is not available for iPhone via the iTunes store and likely never will be without jailbreaking. One limitation in this evolution of sexual pleasure devices connecting to smartphones is Apple’s inability or unwillingness to allow adult rated content in their store.
While the VR experience may be limited the BKK Cybersex Cup does allow you to connect with all sorts of 3rd party VR adult content online from sites such as PornHub.
So what’s next? We expect to see a plethora of devices competing in the VR sex space over the next few years.
