An Ad Agency Built an Online Library of Orgasm Audio to Teach Us What Pleasure Really Sounds Like and it is actually a really cool and clever project. Commissioned by Sex Toy company Bijoux Indescrets after researchers discovered 70% of Spanish people believed the sounds made in porn movies to be the actual sound of a womans orgasm. The library also allows users to upload their own orgasms anonymously and more than 100 women took part in the first week of the sites launch. This is incentivized with a cool data visualization which is created when your orgasm audio has been analysed by the software behind the website which are very arty and interesting. You could even print it out as a nice piece of hyper-personal art in disguise.
The site is proving popular gaining lots of attention and the first 100 orgasms uploaded have been listened to more than 110,000 times after being promoted via the hastag #orgasmoreales across social media channels. The Ad agency and sex toy manufacturer are now planning to release a documentary that explored how fiction has influenced our sexual behaviour which of course correlates with this current audio library and how it shows how pornography has influenced our sexual habits.
